Inside the guide

A configured portal is only the start.

The useful question: can people complete the agreed work, with reliable data and clear ownership?

Design

Model records, reconcile a migration, control access, sync and workflows.

15–17

Release

Rehearse the change, measure completed work and decide what goes live.

18–21

Apply

Four fillable worksheets: decision record, field authority, acceptance test and release gate.

99.7% imported.
Still a no-go?

In the worked example, 1,844 of 1,850 expected records are created: a 99.68% reconciliation rate. Six records are rejected and two expected associations are missing.

A percentage cannot tell you whether one of those records is an active customer or a missing relationship contains a critical handoff. Before release, classify exceptions by business impact and agree who can accept the remaining risk.

Illustrative calculation from page 9. Constructed numbers explain the control; they are not client data or a benchmark.

The operating principle

Count what happened.
Check what matters.
Name who decides.

The guide turns that principle into record matching, field authority, workflow tests and release decisions.

Evidence, with context
